In order to prevent the airspeed and VSI instruments from jumping around during flight a proper pitot static system has been installed. The pitot tube is mounted on the nose of the aircraft and the tube can be removed when on the ground to prevent damage.

The plumbing from both the pitot and static ports can be easily taken apart when removing the nose cone.
