Export to HTML With
Overlay Answer Key
|
|
This type of exam is also a hard copy exam, which is typically printed and handed out to the students for classroom testing. If your questions involve the use of accompanying materials, such as charts, graphs, diagrams, pictures or illustrations, they must be handed out to the students at the same time. Quiz Master can produce both the HTML exam, the answer key overlay, and the page(s) of accompanying materials from your question banks. The only difference between a regular hard copy exam and the HTML formatted exam, with its overlay answer key and accompanying materials, is that you print the exams via your browser. The latest Microsoft Internet Explorer has print features, such as a print preview and page setup. Your default browser can automatically be called from within the program. |

Exporting to HTML example
|
| By exporting the exam to HTML you can be more creative. Below is an example of a typical plain HTML exam. Notice there is an actual place for the students to mark an answer. |

Because the exam is now a web page its appearance can be changed with a style sheet. The style sheet easily controls the appearance of the exam without changing the exam itself. The paragraphs can be bolded, and the multiple distracter styles can be changed (for example, 1,2,3 to a,b,c or A,B,C). Here is an example with the heading in a large font, the questions in
bold, the distracters set at a,b,c and the font changed to Arial. |

| Along with the exam an answer key is created. The answer key is exactly the same as the exam except the answers are filled in, as you can see from the example below. |
