Dennis was the trail boss on this ride. We went north out of Aguila to the Bullard Mine area.
The first stop was a little north of the road to the big Bullard mine, an area strewn with holes and caves.

Holes observed on the surface. If you go south from here down into a wash you'll find this mine entrance.

Looking out to the entrance. Some areas are shored up.

Dale and Debbie. Hard to imagine all this was hand dug. Karen and Gnettie deep in the mine.

Bob Symns Side by Side. Mark and Greta's Arctic Cat

Mike nd Deb's Side by Side. View to the south

From there we ventured on the main Bullard Mine.
After a hard climb we start looking around. Some climbed up to the main cave.

Karen, Don and Gnettie around our Yamaha. Remnants of a bygone era.

From there we ventured on to other side of the mountain to the other Bullard Mine.
Most of them went up to the mine, but there was no room to turn around, so I parked at the turn around. Yamaha at the turn around.

A view down the hill. Doesn't look like much but it was steep.

At the bottom looking up the trail. Here's the gang headed down.

We lunched at the stone mine headquarters, then ventured down into the wash to see where the smelter had been.
