This was a fun trip. Down to the Ambrosia Mill and headed west to the wilderness area.
Then north to a mine, a water tank and a dam. Today is Gnettie's birthday. The gang sang "Happy Birthday" during lunch, and gave her some nice cards.
Hottest day so far going to 95 °

| We arrive at the end of the road. It was blocked by the BLM because of the wilderness area. |
Water tank with a pipe running up the wash. |

| The gang walked up the closed road following an old water pipe. |
Gorgeous scenery. |

| Gorgeous scenery. |
| Up the trail Dale discovered that the cattle were finding water by digging in the wash. |
| Here's Dale digging for water. (No he is not a midget.) |
Sweet clear water from the shallow hole. |

| The journey up the wash, following the pipe. |
| Pipe is old and rusted. Has a split in it in places. Up high and on the left. |
From days of yesteryear. The folks that laid this pipe are long gone. |

| Can imagine what the water flow looks like during a monsoon. |
Water can be found in places. |

| Rock must have been on a pool of water. |
Here is a pool of water! |

| Pipes lead to dam ! |
Down stream from the dam. Rugged country ! |
| |
| Dam is all filled with sand. Mark Sheridan and Bob Symns in the background. |
So many years ago all this had to be hauled in with mules ! |
