The Great Adventures of the Yamaha Viking VI
26-Apr-21

Group:
  1. Yamaha Viking VI: Gary and Gnettie Eisert, Jim and Elaine Fowler
  2. Jeep: Brian Paden
  3. Polaris 2 Seater: Mike and Debby Gruenthaner
Just for fun we did the same run as 16-Apr-21, the Purple Pansy Mine, then the south wash route to the Black Rock Mine, this time lead by Mike.
Both of us are using GaiaGps software on our iPads, so we are really sure where we are when we are lost.
From there we ventured off and found the "Road from Hell".
At the Purple Pansy I took this shot from on top the hill. Mike & Deb showed Brian the Black Rock mine. Here is shot of them coming back up out of the pit.

From the Black Rock mine we headed west to Eagle Eye road, and crossed it over to the Windmill. 33.76167, -113.23989

From there a road goes north west to the Sunset Mine. It was as scenic trip. The Sunset Mine is blocked off and we are assuming it is an active mine. From there we took the road farther north and found the road from hell.
We got part way up this bad road and had to turn around with a sheer drop on one side. Thanks to Jim and the gals directing me we were able to turn around unscathed.
In all the excitement no one thought to take picture.
