This was another trip to the dry waterfall this season, but for a lot of folks on this trip it was all new scenery. We drove north through Rudy pass, then to the Alamo Road, then west a mile or so and then we dropped down into the Date Creek wash. Down the wash for quite a ways you come to the Waterfall that is fed by a spring in the mountain. From the waterfall we traveled to the Alamo road via the pipeline ranch road then over to the fallen saguaro. From there we headed through Bullard pass and back home.

A trip down the Date Creek wash.
We arrive at the waterfall.

When the pools are full this is the entrance to the waterfall. This pool is normally filled, but today it is bone dry.

Waterfall is dry. A small pool is all that's left.

A lone cactus. Easier to walk when there is no water.

We arrive at the fallen Saguaro.
