Steve and Amber wanted us to take her brother and family (2 adults - 2 Children) for a desert trip. Amber asked Dennis to head honcho the trip. We all met at the north Eagle Roost gate figuring there was only going to be 3 rigs, and all of a sudden a whole bunch of them showed up. It looked like a parade !

| The first stop was the Bullard Mine east shaft. We usually venture up to it as it is high up on the mountain, but there was too many rigs, plus there was a pickup truck in the turn around area part way up.
So we all parked below and some of the rigs went up to explore the mine. |

Then down a wash which to see the food stowage cave and the well. The area above the cave was a town to support the Bullard mine operations. There were so many folks I had a hard time getting a picture of the cave. |
Across from the cave was the ruin of an old stone house. |

| To the north was a well. |
Still water in it and lots of flies. |

| We arrive at the catch basin for providing water to the wild life. |
The water is trapped by a large concrete area and the water is piped to watering troughs. |

| The next stop was a mine around the north side of the mountain. |

| The rest of the gang headed up to the Smith Peak antennas, while Steve, Amber and us went to the Bullard mine west shaft. |
Gnettie was helping one of the kids in the mine, when she stepped on a loose rock and broke her ankle.
From here we headed home. |
