Mark and Greta's son J.H. and nephew Brian were here for a visit. The group decided to take them for a trip up Dushey canyon and visit some of the old mines.

| Just through the fence we got a surprise fly-by from a fellow Eagle Roost pilot. |
| |
We traveled southeast for a while and stopped at an unknown mine at the end of the road.
| |
Mine shafts have been filled in.
| |
Remains of the old stone cabin where the miners lived.
| |
Our next stop was the stone corral.
This must have been one hell of a job to build this stone corral.
Heres a strange cactus ! It's a guy running up the hill !
| |
We had to take the long way around because the road was washed out and we lunched at the windmill.
On the way out there is a mine shaft right beside the road.
Brian and JH checking it out.
The shaft has been filled in over the years and is about 30 feet deep.
