iPad/Tablet Power Supply
A lot of pilots flying across country with an iPad or tablet running their favorite navigation software run into battery problems.
The normal charging power supply units cannot keep up with charging the internal battery and running the unit at the same time.
All off the shelf units only put out a maximum of 2.5 amps when you need 3.0 to 5.0 amps to keep everything running.
A lot of "off the shelf" units also put out spurious noise which can be heard in the VHF radios. NOT GOOD.

The unit runs from 12 - 24 VDC aircraft power. This fused coiled cord adaptor cable is supplied with the unit.
This is the finished unit in a silver metal case. On this side is the input from the 12vdc cigarette lighter cable.
On this side are the 2 3.0 Amp USB ports. Unit can output 3 amp continuous and a maximum burst of 5.0 amps from each port.
